Weather Policy for Soft Play & Bounce House Hire
At Elimilio Play Events, we understand that weather conditions can be unpredictable, and we aim to ensure your event runs smoothly. Our weather policy is designed to ensure the safety of all participants and protect our equipment. Please review the following guidelines:
Indoor Events:
If your event is indoors, weather conditions will not affect the setup, and we will proceed as planned.Outdoor Events:
For outdoor events, we recommend that all soft play and bounce house setups be placed in a covered or shaded area to protect the equipment and ensure safety. If this is not possible, we may need to assess the weather conditions closer to the event date.Weather Conditions:
Rain or Wet Conditions: If there is heavy rain or wet conditions forecast for the event day, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the hire to avoid damage to the equipment and ensure the safety of the children.
High Winds: For safety reasons, bounce houses and inflatable equipment will not be set up in windy conditions (wind speeds over 20 km/h). If high winds are forecast, we may cancel or reschedule the event.
Extreme Heat: For hot weather conditions, we recommend providing a shaded or cool area for the equipment, as prolonged exposure to high heat can damage the equipment and pose a safety risk.
Indoor Setup Space Unavailable:
If your event is moved indoors due to weather and an appropriate indoor setup space is unavailable, we are not responsible for the cancellation of the booking due to the lack of indoor space. While we will do our best to assist in finding a solution, no refund will be provided, as the weather and availability of indoor space are beyond our control.Cancellation due to Weather:
If your event is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions:More than 14 days in advance: Your deposit will be transferred to a credit note for use within 12 months.
5-14 days before the event: The deposit will be transferred to a credit note for use within 12 months.
Within 5 days of the event: The deposit will be forfeited, and the remaining balance will be converted into a credit note for future use within 12 months.
On the Day: The full payment amount will be forfeited. While we will do our best to assist you, it is the hirer responsibility to have a safe location for the set up of the equipment.
Communication:
We will usually assess the weather conditions 24-48 hours prior to your event. If there is a possibility of adverse weather, we may contact you to discuss options and determine the best course of action. We encourage you to check the weather forecast and reach out to us in advance if you have concerns if your event is outdoors.
Your safety and the condition of our equipment are our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our weather policy. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
